This project began during the first week of lockdown due to COVID-19. I left London just before lockdown was officially announced, to be with my family in Northern Ireland.
The first couple of weeks were very strange, I left whilst in the midst of prepping for degree show and left most of my belongings and artwork in London.
I initially felt at a bit of a loss in finding ways to be creative and really just wanted something to fill in the day. I had access to Dragonframe on a laptop I loaned from the university which I brought to Ireland with me, so I decided to give it a go. Initially, this was just for a bit of fun and to give myself a project to keep the anxiety of the situation away. However, as I became more confident with the software I became more invested in the project and felt it was developing into an interesting expression of the absurdity of the whole situation. I then went on to create an original soundtrack for each.
